Randy W. Edwards

Randy W. Edwards, 65 of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue, Iowa. A celebration of Randy's life will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, June 18, 2018 at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at the Hickory Grove Cemetery, rural Monmouth, Iowa. Randy Wayne Edwards was born on April 3, 1953 in Jackson County, Iowa, to Wayne H. and Twila Jane (Howell) Edwards. He was a graduate of Maquoketa High School. He married Karen Goldensoph and they were married for 15 years. They later divorced. Randy first worked local factory jobs, and then was employed for 35 years with John Deere in Mt. Joy, Iowa until retirement. Randy was extremely close with his sister Shawna. He enjoyed fishing, watching classic movies, morel mushroom hunting, and riding his motorcycle when he was able.
