FORT WORTH - Joy Delores Evans, 86, of Lake Country, rejoined her family on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Joy was born on Jan. 12, 1932, in Rush Springs, Okla. She worked for many years at General Dynamics in configuration status accounting and retired in 1992. She was the last member of her tribe that included 10 brothers and sisters. Mom enjoyed her golf and ladies bridge associations at Lake Country. When she and dad retired together they enjoyed traveling in the RV with their grandson and playing golf with their friends. Mom, we will miss you so much.
Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Evans; parents, Grover and Naomi Spears; and siblings, Ovid, Pauline, Hester, Jack, Oweeta, Calvin, Eileen, Billy and John.
Survivors: Daughter, Deborah Turner; son, Stephen Evans; grandson, Stephen Evans, Jr.; so very many nieces and nephews; and their children and grandchildren.
