DONNA L. NESS MUSCATINE, Iowa - Donna L. Ness, 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Lutheran Living. Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:30 am at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend John Brown and Pastor Dennis Wheeler will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society. Donna was born on June 11, 1940 in Muscatine, the daughter of William Edward and Marguerite Ravenscraft Streat. She married LaRoy Ness on June 30, 1962 in Davenport, Iowa. She had retired from Bandag in 1999. She enjoyed floral arrangements and animals. Those left to honor her memory include a son, Troy Ness and wife, Denise, of Muscatine; a daughter, Jerri Scheib and husband, Bruce, of Mason, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Ashley and Ben Scheib, and Ridge, Rebecca and Rachel Ness; eight great grandchildren, a sister, Debbie Wheeler and husband, Denny, of Muscatine; and two brothers, Gary Streat and wife, Judy, and Danny Streat and wife, Christie, both of Muscatine.
