Barbara Elizabeth Blackledge, age 64, born August 4, 1953, passed away on July 7th at her residence.
Mrs. Blackledge was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Sherman and Ruby Mae Smith Sherman; husband, Glenn Blackledge; and sister, Gail Clark.
Surviving her are three sons, Gary Blackledge (Dana) of the Calhoun community, Jody Blackledge (Susan) of Ovett, and Brody Blackledge (Christy) of Hattiesburg; two daughters, Georgana Payne (Jud) of Waterloo, AL and Deanna Powell of Ellisville; twenty grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Loftin (Susan) of Laurel, Larry Loftin (Charlotte) of Laurel, and Bobby Sherman (Vivian) of the Calhoun community; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Justice Blackledge, Jordan Blackledge, Corbin Norris, Lane Touchstone, Cole Payne, and Zachary Boleware.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13th at Memory Chapel beginning at 10 a.m. with graveside services to follow at 12 noon at Er...[more]
