Harry Lacy, Jr. aka "Cutter" was born to Harry, Sr. and Ida B. (Williams) Lacy on December 18, 1948, in San Angelo, TX. Harry accepted Christ at an early age at Mt Zion Baptist Church while living in San Angelo. He attended the San Angelo Public Schools and graduated from Central High School in 1967. He later graduated in 1971from Angelo State University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) degree.
After High School and during those college years, Harry had a band called the "Soul Masters", where he played the Trumpet. Harry loved to travel, listening to various music artists, a sharp impeccable dresser; he loved outdoor events and getting his family together.
On August 22, 1970, Harry united in Holy matrimony with Jacqulin L. Epperson. To this union one child was born.
Later in life after moving to the Dallas area, he joined New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Dallas, TX. Harry and family were later transferred to Tulsa, Ok. new member's orientation. He also loved reading any books on PAUL, a servant of Jesus Christ and hated having to miss Church. After living ten years in Oklahoma, the family moved back to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to be closer to family. In 2002 Harry and family joined the Saint John Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas and attended faithfully until his illness.

He departed this life on June 17, 2018 at the Metroplex Nursing and Rehabilitation, Grand Prairie, TX following a long-time illness.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Charles Lacy, Willie Earl (Bill) Lacy, two sisters Josephine (Effie) Overall and Melba Faye Jones.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife of 48 years, Jacqulin Lacy; son, Eris Lacy, three sisters, Susie Madkin and Patricia Lacy, Fort Worth, TX; Terri Lynn Smith (Tim) of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Michael Lacy, Fort Worth, TX; Anthony Lacy (Leticia) Garland, TX; Ricky Lacy, San Angelo, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
