Arthur Lee Burroughs

Arthur Lee Burroughs "Boot" the son of Willie & Pauline Burroughs was born February 5, 1951. He attended Indianapolis Public Schools, at Arsenal Technical High School, he lettered in track & field in the long jump event. Boot professed a hope in Christ at an early age, and was baptized at 25th Street Baptist Church. Boot was a hard worker, who never spoke an unkind word about anyone and could be depended upon by many. He was very knowledgeable about repairing cars, many depended on his skills to fix them. He loved his family, fishing, roller skating, horseshoes and those in his neighborhood. He will be sorely missed by many, but the memory of his caring and quiet spirit will live on in our hearts. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Cozett Marie Boyd who he had been with for 28 years. A son: Artez Burroughs: daughters: Quentiaz Burroughs (Janel), Lujuana Brown (Eric). Brothers: Robert Lee, Larry Burroughs. Sister: Carol Sue Calvert. Sister in laws: Sheila Simon (Willie), Terrizenia Lambert (Kevin).
