Funeral Services for Mrs. Delberta Roberts, age 74, will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Hatcher Hall Christian Church where the body will lie in state from 1 P.M. until the time of the service. Bro. Hillier Duke will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Saturday, July 28th, from 5 to 8 P.M. at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Burial will be in the Hatcher Hall Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, July 26, 2018, in Chattanooga. Delberta was born in Overton County on March 16, 1944, to the late Jim and Alice Hicks Norris. She enjoyed spending time with her family, socializing with friends at the dance, playing with her dog Angel, tending her garden, watching hummingbirds, and cheering on the Tennessee Titans. Delberta leaves her son Eddie Roberts and his father, Ronald Roberts, of Monroe; grandson Brandon Roberts and wife Hannah, of Cookeville; great grandson Lawson Roberts, of Cookeville; brothers Tom Norris and Danny Norris of Alpine, and Ronnie Norris and wife Sue, of White Plains; and sister Pam Clark and husband Jay, of Atlanta, Georgia.
