Helen Wixom

Helen Wixom, 97, most recently of River Hills Village, Keokuk, IA, left this earth to be with her heavenly Father on August 2, 2018. Helen was born on March 18, 1921, in Lockridge, IA, the daughter of Lucas E. and Mida Elmira Essley Zihlman. Helen is survived by daughters, Carolyn (Dennis) Patterson of Keokuk, IA and Rhonda (David) Clark of Carthage, IL, son Kyle Wellington Letts, IA, nine grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. Greeting Helen in heaven were her parents, husband William (Bill) Wixom, son Terry Wellington, three brothers, six sisters and son-in-law Curt Mason. Helen was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, and Kings Daughters, National Lifetime P.T.A. membership from Wells Carey. She was born and reared North of Lockridge, IA. Helen retired from the Hy-Vee Deli. A celebration of Helen's life will be held Monday, August 6, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at DeJong - Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 917 Blondeau Street, in Keokuk, with Cathie Courtois officiating.
