Max Sherwood

Max Sherwood, 63, passed away August 10, 2018.  He was born August 20, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late David and Marea (Hammons) Klein.   Max came to Sarasota in 2006 from Marysville, Michigan.  He loved camping, reading, watching movies and hanging out with his friends.  He was a very involved member of the Sons of the American Legion. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Marea Powell and her husband Rob; sister, Jamie Sherwood, former wife, Jane Horsley and her husband Bill; brothers, Charlie Sherwood and his wife Dona and Tommee Sherwood. There will be a Celebration of Life Thursday August 16th at 6pm at the American Legion Post 30, 4015 N. Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sons of the American Legion Post #30.
