Mary Patricia Collins

Mary Patricia "Pat" Collins, age 93, passed away August 14, 2018 in Stanton, Iowa. Pat was born in Neola, Iowa on November 21, 1924 to the late Bernard and Honor (Hannafan) Kenealy and graduated from Underwood High with the class of 1942. She was united in marriage to Leland "Red" Collins on May 15, 1945 and worked many years for Peter Kiewit Company. In addition to her parents, Pat was also preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Jo Pedersen in 1996 and husband Red in 1999; sisters, Anita Schwertley and Elaine Bowers; brother, Bernard J. Kenealy Jr. Survivors include grandson, Ed Pedersen and wife Caryn of Red Oak, Iowa; granddaughter, Laura Knicely and husband, Howard of Fredericksburg, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Osiel, Antonio and Neyali Pedersen, Kristina Johnson; brother, Al Kenealy of Minden, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
