Linda Busse, 68, of Omaha, NE, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Omaha on Friday, August 17, 2018. Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Carson United Methodist Church in Carson, IA with Pastor Michael Slininger officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Celebration of Life. Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center in Carson is handling the arrangements. Memorials: American Cancer Society Linda Sue (Allington) Busse, daughter of Earl and Audrey (Johnson) Allington, was born on September 7, 1949 in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her education in Omaha and graduated from Westside in 1967. Following graduation, she began her lifelong career at Woodmen of the World in Omaha. Linda married Timothy Busse on April 9, 1983 in Omaha. The couple was blessed with a son, TJ. Linda enjoyed crocheting, traveling with Tim, and one of their favorite places was Ireland. She enjoyed reading a good book, playing cards with family and friends, and watching the TV show "Touched by an Angel". She adored her two Shih Tzu's, Harley and Brie. d nephews, and was well-known as the kissing aunt. Linda passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha, at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 10 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard Allington; nephew, Nick Allington; niece Kelly Hull; and father-in-law, Bob Busse. Linda is survived by her husband of 35 years, Tim, of Omaha; son, TJ Busse of Omaha; sister, Sheri (Sonny) Kurtz of Omaha; brother, John (Bonnie) Allington of Omaha; sister-in-law Debby Hull; mother-in-law Aleen Busse of Carson, IA; other relatives; and a host of special friends. Linda was a fighter to the end. She never complained and always had a positive spirit with a smile and some laughter.
