Ray O. Fox of Carmel, passed away August 15th surrounded by his children. He was born May 22, 1929 in Morristown, Indiana to the late Chauncey and Ada (Wilkins) Fox. He was one of seven children and went on to marry Marjorie Roland and they had 5 children. Ray worked in sales throughout his life for Colonial Bakery and DuBuios Chemicals.
He was very proud to be the president of the Carmel Dad's Club and volunteered coaching for many years. He was also the owner of the Highway Bar and grill and later the Foxes Den. He loved all sports, hunting, boating, fishing, horse racing, and the Indy 500!
He is survived by his children Roger (Cheryl), Mark (Jan), Brian (Barb), Bruce and Sheri Fox; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Fox, grandson Vincent Fox, and step daughter Robin Bymaster.
A celebration of life will be held from 3:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Sunday August, 26 at Capri Italian Restaurant, 2602 Ruth Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
