Bonnie R. Bostwick

Bonnie Rae Bostwick, 79, of Ponca, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2018 at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, August 24, at United Methodist Church in Ponca with Pastor Cathy Cole officiating. Burial will be in Southcreek Calvary Cemetery near Ponca, Nebraska. Visitation with the family present will begin Thursday evening at 5 PM with a 7 PM prayer service at United Methodist Church. Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca is in charge of arrangements. Bonnie Rae Backman was born October 19, 1938, near Ponca, Nebraska to Clarence and Zadia (Bass) Backman. She graduated from Ponca High School. Bonnie married Paul Dale Jones June 2, 1955. She was a devoted mother to their two children Craig and Debbie. She worked in Ponca at the ASCS office, Dixon County Judges Office, and the Bank of Dixon County. Her husband Dale died in 1972. On December 10, 1987, Bonnie married Lionel (Chris) Bostwick at Las Vegas, Nevada and they attended the first of many National Rodeos together.
