Walter Robert Gene Hunter

Funeral services for Mr. Walter Robert Gene Hunter, age 80, of Lebanon and formerly of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate. Burial will be in the Hunter Cove Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., then on Monday from 12 noon until time of services. Mr. Hunter passed from this life on Thursday morning, August 23, 2018 from the Waters of Gallatin Health Care. Gene was born in Overton County, June 17, 1938 to the late Cleston Brye and Bonnie Ombra Warden Hunter. He was a member of the Allons Church of Christ and the Holiday Church of Christ. Gene enjoyed trading knives, fishing, watching NASCAR Racing, working on cars and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He leaves his two sons, Anthony Hunter & wife Valerie of Lebanon, TN, and Robert Wayne Hunter of Knoxville, TN; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and one great grandson on the way; brother, Carl Hunter & wife Gloria of Kent, WA.
