active on walks and in the pool daily. Over her 108 years of life on earth, she had seen more change in the world than most, and her family and friends will miss quizzing her about all that she had experienced. She remained intrepid until the end, with grace and resilience, and will be missed every single day. Herdis is survived by her son, Peter Berquist (wife Rosie) and her four grandchildren, Kelly (husband Gary), Mitzi (husband Tylor), Sarah, and Luke (wife Lacey), and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to list but not forgotten. She has now been reunited with her husband, John, and her daughter, Karen (Berquist) Toland.
