Martha Yoder

Martha Yoder, 78, passed Saturday, September 22, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 31, 1940, in Hartville, Ohio, to the late Levi and Alma Miller. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Mary Yoder and Ruth Hostetler; and her sister-in-law Jamie Miller. Martha was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church and enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, reading and teaching Sunday school. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Dale; daughters, Cheryl Mast and her husband Leroy; Diane Detweiler and her husband Tim; and Karen Yoder; son, Douglas Yoder and his wife Heather; sisters, Sara Mae Troyer and her husband Rudy; Ruby Schrock and her husband Leroy; brother, Reuben Miller and his wife Marilyn; grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Gwendolyn, Lindsey, Sierra, Carson, Chelsea, Ryan, and Tessa; and 8 great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, September 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, September 26th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Bethel Mennonite Church, 2985 Bethel Lane, Sarasota, Florida. Funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 am followed by interment in Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery. ...[more]
