Beloved husband, father and Baba, Roy Franklin Custer, Jr., age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Tuesday October 2nd at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Roy was born in Miami, Florida at Victoria Hospital to Hazel and Roy Franklin Custer, Sr. After graduating from the University of Florida in 1954 he served in the Air Force during the Korean War as a First Lieutenant. A businessman at heart, he began his career as a cattleman and went on to manufacturing and real estate development. He was married to his church sweetheart Peggy Moberg by Reverend Carl E. Moberg. Married for 59 years, they raised three sons, traveled, enjoyed spending time in Islamorada and were immensely blessed with 10 grandchildren and one great grandson. Roy will be most remembered for his love for his wife and family.
