Donald enjoyed fishing, gardening, and archery. He especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed selling worms through his worm farm "S & D Worms". Those left to honor Donald's memory include his children, Barbara (Chris) Berner of Lost Nation, IA, Rosemary (David) Knoebel of Maquoketa, IA and Wilhelm "Bill" (Karla) DeLarm of Maquoketa, IA; 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; a brother Richard (Delores) DeLarm of Onslow, IA; sisters Margaret Lovely of Maquoketa, IA, and Judy Ray of Bettendorf, IA; sisters-in-law, Phyllis DeLarm and Janet DeLarm; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond (Ruth), David, Carl, and Charles (Brenda) DeLarm.
