Anita Kay Johnson

Anita Kay Johnson, 56, passed away October 10, 2018. She was born March 20, 1962 in Lander, Wyoming to Jane and the late Gary Wakefield. In addition to her father, Anita is preceded in death by her husband Roy Johnson and her sister Natasha Martin. Anita came to Sarasota 28 years ago from Texas. She was a member of Sandy Baptist Church in Myakka City. She loved to cook, paint, sculpt art, camp, fish and anything outdoors and with nature. 
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Logan Johnson; mother, Jane Langford; aunt, Liz Valerino; brothers, Allen and Louis Wakefield; granddaughter, Lily Bleau Johnson.
