Joaquin Roberto Caballero Jr. died Sunday October 14, 2018 in San Angelo. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, at Harper Funeral Home Chapel. Joaquin was born February 16, 2000 in Hereford Texas. Joaquin grew up in Del Rio where he excelled in many sports including football, track and field and soccer always exhibiting his leadership skills and bringing ever one together to have fun. Later in high school Joaquin developed cancer and because of this HE ended up graduating from Central High School in 2018. During this time Joaquin never let the cancer define his life or the way he treated others. He continued to be the man he had grown up to be: wise, loving, caring, a leader, and impacted all who met him. Survivors include his daughter Analisa Valentine Ochoa, his mother's Santa Gonzales and Blanca Olivas; father Joaquin Roberto Caballero Sr.; sisters Laura Esteves, Kimberly Caballero, Blanca A. Salas, Brenda I. Salas; brother Armondo E. Salas Jr.; step-sisters Alyssa Ortega, Alexia Ortega, and Aaron Ortega; his aunt Dora Velasquez; and many friends, which include Allyza, Jayden, Alex, Thomas P. and Thomas T.
