Frances L. Mason

Frances Mason, 97 of Pembroke Pines, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Hollywood. Visitation will be held from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood FL. A memorial service with military honors be held from 2pm - 4pm. Rabbi Loren Frank will officiate. Fran Mason was born in the Bronx to Max and Sylvia (Geffen) Zacher on August 10, 1921. She married Dave Mason on June 20, 1948. She worked as a teacher for 35 years. She was a veteran of World War II and served in the Navy. Frances is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dave Mason. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Mason & Claire Mason; her sister Rose Heifetz; her granddaughter Michelle Mason; great-grandson Michael Mason; nieces, nephews and extended family. [more]
