, in that same role. Mary Lou was a member of the Elwood United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Wyoming Country Club and DeWitt Moose Lodge. She loved going "shopping", and enjoyed bingo, playing cards, the Red Hat Society, golfing, fishing, dancing, traveling, going to garage sales, and attending sports activities of her children. Those left to honor Mary Lou's memory include her children, Brad (Kandi) Geerts of El Paso, IL, Roger (Lynn) Geerts of Davenport, IA, Jolee Barnes of La Grange, MO, and Joy Keeney (Michelle Tredway) of Mitchellville, IA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Clarence on September 10, 2014. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Mary Lou Geerts memorial fund has been established.
