of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute chapter of Engineers Without Borders, founding member of the Rondout Rowing Club, and devoted member to the YMCA, especially his beloved YMCA Camps Seewackamano and Chingachgook. He sat on the boards of countless organizations and participated fully and enthusiastically in so many aspects of his communities. Dr. Pagnozzi impacted the lives of so many and was universally adored by everyone who had the honor to meet him. He had varied and profound musical tastes and was a talented self taught pianist and guitarist who loved to jam with and for his friends and family. He was a world traveler and voracious reader who left stacks of books on every surface of his house. He loved the Adirondack Mountains and recently purchased property there to better enjoy this beloved region. He arguably loved his cat Dalton (Eep) more than his children and took great pride in showing off her fetching abilities to anyone visiting. Paul had a wicked, profound, and infectious sense of humor and was one of those rare individuals who could truly make anyone laugh in any situation. He had a phenomenal cowboy boot collection he proudly repaired himself over the years and was notorious for stomping down the halls of the hospital in them accompanied by booming laughter. He was the rock of stability and wisdom for countless people in his life and everyone who knew him is testament to the depth of love and gratitude he had for life. He is survived by children Leah Pagnozzi and Daniel Pagnozzi, his fiancé Gail Young, his sister Mia Pagnozzi, sister Julie Pagnozzi, his former wife Diane Page, and truly countless friends in all the corners of the world.
