A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at Grace Church in Algona. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Algona. Visitation will be from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM Friday at Grace Church and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Helen JoAnn Baier Limbaugh, age 90, was born to Winn and Florence (Vanderwater) Baier on May 20, 1928, in Adair County Iowa. She graduated salutatorian from Greenfield High School. After graduation she taught in a one-room school. She met Jack Limbaugh in high school and upon his return from WWII they married on June 15, 1947. They moved to Algona in 1952, and purchased a tire business that became Jack's OK Tire Service.

In the early years of their marriage, Helen placed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, claiming Titus 3:5-6 as her life verses. Helen was active in her local church teaching Sunday School, as a youth camp counselor, playing the piano and organ, and teaching Joy Clubs in her home. She was currently a member of Community Baptist Church, Ankeny, IA. She was also involved in Soroptomist, Kossuth Regional Health Center Auxiliary and other local service organizations.

Her real joy was being involved with her children and grandchildren, following their many activities, and traveling. She is survived by seven children Jacquelin (Lon) Barkema, Mason City, Jan (Norm) Borst, Ankeny, Nita (Dick) McWilliams, Des Moines, Jenni (Don) Johnston, Davenport, Jack (Deb) Limbaugh, Algona, Julie Limbaugh, Ankeny, and Jamie (Chris) Brauns, Stillman Valley, IL; an exchange student Jill Irmgard Fennes. She is also survived by forty grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild; her brother Bill (Donna) Baier, Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
