Daniel Carlisle Wolfe, 66, of Marshalltown, IA, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until the time of the services at the church. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery in Marshalltown. Arrangements are entrusted to Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com. Dan was born December 4, 1951 to Lowell C. and Georgene I. (Kurtz) Wolfe in Marshalltown. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1971. Dan assisted his father at his pharmacy in his younger years. He volunteered many hours at the Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce over the years while with the CDC and REM program. Dan participated in the Career Development Center, the REM Day Program and with CIRSI. He was a kind, thoughtful man who had a beautiful smile that when seen, it filled everyone that was around him with joy. able to give the gift of life thru Organ Donation. He enjoyed the little things in life especially coffee and pie. Dan enjoyed going out to eat at many restaurants especially Stones and Perkins where everyone was so kind to him. Dan will be missed by his CIRSI and REM families. He will also be missed by several cousins with both the Wolfe and Kurtz families. Dan is preceded in death by his parents Georgene in 2005 and Lowell in 2006.
