Donald Eugene Kain, age 75, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Visitation will be held from on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Runnells Christian Church. Funeral services will be at the Runnells Christian Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Interment will be held at Lowman Cemetery in Runnells. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Runnells Christian Church, Runnells Fire Department or Unity Point Hospice. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com Donald was born on January 23, 1943 on the farm at home in Morgan Valley to Clyde and Donna Kain. He graduated from Runnells Consolidated school in 1961. On October 12th, 1963, he married Janice Busby. He worked at Northwestern Bell for 20 years and farmed from 1971 until Parkinson's disease wouldn't allow him to farm anymore. He loved hunting, fishing and being around his family.
