Billy Neal Towery was born April 2, 1959 to Bill and Loeta (Allen) Towery at Fort Benjamin Harrison Army Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana while his Dad was stationed there. When his Dad completed his tour of duty, in April of 1960, the family moved to Altus, Oklahoma. When Billy was two and half years old, he and his parents moved to Snyder, Oklahoma to reside near his grandparents when his dad was called back into the Army, this time at Ft. Sill Oklahoma. During that time, Billy gained a little brother, David, of whom he was extremely proud. The family eventually moved to Big Spring, Texas where Billy and David lived for most of their childhood. The brothers were very close and did almost everything together. They especially enjoyed spending time outdoors exploring the canyons near home and riding motorcycles. Billy graduated from Big Spring High School with the class of 1978. After graduation, he stayed in Big Spring for a year before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma to reside with his parents and brother. ng and giving person, Billy never met a stranger. He sacrificed all he had for the people he loved. He passed away at his home on December 3, 2018. He leaves behind son, Brad Towery, of the United States Marines, and wife, Staci and their four children; son, Dustin Towery of Bixby; brother, David Towery and wife, Lisa of Claremore; parents, Bill and Loeta Towery of Broken Arrow; Tabitha Johnson of the home; her son, Larry; daughter, Toni; and granddaughter, Stormie of Bixby.
