A memorial service to celebrate the life of Geoffrey "Geoff" Chancey will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 in the RiverCrest Chapel, Bixby. Geoff passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in Tulsa. He was 35. Born June 1, 1983 in Augusta, Kansas, Geoffrey Vincent Chancey was the third of four children gifted to Larry Chancey and Donece (Warminski) Woods. Geoffrey or "Geoff" would be welcomed by two older brothers: Ezekiel and Nathaniel and would later become a big brother to sister, Elizabeth. Raised in Kansas, Geoff would attend school in Augusta and Garden Plain, Kansas where he became a high school graduate. Following, he would further his education by attending Wyotech Institute. Geoff was a very loved son, brother, uncle, friend, mentor, nephew and grandson. His beaming personality, his genuine smile, and heartfelt words of encouragement will never be forgotten. His love of cars, art, photography, OU sports, his family and his faith will live on through those closest to him. His example has been an inspiration to countless others and his presence will be sorely missed by those family and friends he leaves to cherish his memory.
