If she wasn't traveling, you could find her hunting for Hallmark ornaments at garage sales and thrift stores around the city, "rescuing" any item that would bring her joy for a cheap thrill. She also was a beloved auntie and grammy, spending countless hours taking care of her grandkids and nephews and nieces. She taught many of them how to play the piano. She is survived by husband, Harry, daughters Terry, Jill Corry (Dave), and Chrissy. Also, 3 grandchildren, Grace, Quinton & Vivian Corry, sister Patti Christensen, brother Brian Christensen (Marianne) & 7 nieces, nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Christensen. Memorial contributions may be directed to Heartland Greyhound Adoption, PO Box 342, Bondurant, Iowa, 50035.
