r of the V.F.W., American Legion, and the Eagles Lodge in Oskaloosa. He always enjoyed sharing stories and refreshments with his friends. He also looked forward to having breakfast and visiting with all his friends at Hy-Vee.
His family includes his brother, Kermit (Marge) Veach of Kansas City, Missouri; a sister, Ruby Veach; an adopted son, Scott Kuntz of Oskaloosa; adopted granddaughter, Megan (Duke) Carmer of Oskaloosa; and his close friends, Ronnie and Cheryl Ferree of Oskaloosa.
In addition to his wife, Dale was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Fern Tremmel, Leona West, and Velda Lippard; and a brother, Russell Veach.
Visitation will begin Friday after 12 noon in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa. The family will be at the funeral chapel from 5-7 Friday evening to greet friends and relatives. Military Honors will be given by members of the Oskaloosa American Legion and V.F.W. at 7 Friday evening. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. As was Dale's wish, following visitation he will be cremated. Memorials may be made to the Oskaloosa American Legion.
