Steven Anthony Lawing

Steven Lawing, age 63 of Douglasville, Georgia, Departed from this life and went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2018, after a 14 month battle with cancer. He was born in Baltimore, MD on July 21, 1955. He loved deer hunting at the cabin with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a skilled carpenter by trade. Steve will be greatly missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved them with all of his heart. He is survived by his wife Brenda Lawing, of 46 years. He is also survived by his son Matt Lawing of Villa Rica, Ga, his son Chad Lawing and his daughter-in-law Raegan Lawing of Bremen, Ga, and his daughter Cristal Rickles of Carrollton, Ga. He is survived by his 6 grandchildren Jacob Hope, Savanna Lawing, Zachary Lawing, Mason Lawing, William Rickles, and Victoria Rickles. The grandchildren were so special to him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Faith Community Church at 305 Burnt Hickory Road Douglasville, Ga 30135.
