Joyce Lee Wyatt

Joyce Lee Wyatt, 76, formerly of Keokuk, passed away early Monday morning at her residence in Burlington, IA surrounded by loved ones. Joyce was the daughter of George and Florence Downard Baker. Joyce was born on March 24, 1942. She was united in marriage to Dale Wyatt on July 16, 1971 in Keokuk, IA. Her loving husband preceded her in death in October of 1998. Joyce lived most of her life in the Donnellson and New Boston area. However, several years ago she moved to Burlington to live with her daughter. She worked in the dietary department at the Keokuk Area Hospital for years. Joyce was active with Trinity United Methodist Church in Keokuk and Melrose United Methodist Church in Argyle. She enjoyed dancing with the Circle Square B Promenade, playing solitaire, but most of all, she loved being with her children and grandchildren. Visitation for Joyce will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center, 917 Blondeau, Keokuk, IA. The funeral services will follow directly at 1pm. Joyce will be laid to rest with her husband at Hickory Grove Cemetery following the funeral services. Memorials may be made to Great River Hospice.
