Robert Duane Walther

Robert Duane "Bob" Walther, 76, of Gordon, TX, Formerly of Waterloo, died at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, December 18, 2018. He was born, April 22, 1942, the son of Friedrich and Lucille Schumacher Walther. Bob graduated from Denver High School. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He is survived by: a son, David Walther of Oro Valley, AZ; two daughters, Fonda Troy, and Cynthia Stevens, both of Waterloo; a niece, Rhonda Hill of Rhome, TX; two sisters, Lois Boyson of Springtown, TX, and Marlys Bruce of Denver; and a brother, Ronald Walther of Cedar Falls. Bob is preceded in death by: his parents; a sister, Phyllis Jacobsen; and a brother Roger Walther.
