Rodney Gene Jones

Rodney Gene Jones, 63, passed away December 27, 2018. He was born June 30, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Paul and Molly (Bradshaw) Jones. Rodney served our country in the US Navy and came to Manatee County 20 years ago from Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a sales representative for a pipe inspection company which sold equipment to state and city governments. He was a Mason and a member of AMVETS. For fun Rodney enjoyed boating, traveling, attending festivals and footballs and basketball games and Indy car racing. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Gay Lynn; sisters, Sandy Bach and her husband John of Fair Hope, Alabama and Susan Jones of Indianapolis; brothers, Paul R.
