Kimberly A. Walls, 53, of Byron, MN died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her residence. Kimberly Ann Kotz was born February 4, 1965 in Northfield, MN to Harold and Marilyn (Bartel) Kotz. She graduated from Northfield High School in 1983. After graduation, she attended Mankato State University and graduated with a bachelors degree in English. She then proceeded to attend RCTC where she obtained her nursing degree. She started working at Saint Marys Hospital in 1989 and was currently employed at the Charlton Building. She married J.T. Walls on February 14, 1998. She was a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with her family, and celebrating her faith. She was dedicated to being in her children's lives by participating with volunteering, PTO, and sports. Kimberly is survived by her husband, J.T. Walls of Byron, MN; seven children, Naomi (Dave) Hampton of Crawfordsville, IN, Kenneth (Jennifer) Walls of Stillwater, MN, Cassandra (Joshua) Chavis of Northfield, MN, Marie Walls of Portland, OR, Alexander Ondler of Saint Paul, MN, Margaret Walls and Mary Evelyn Walls of Byron, MN; and nine grandchildren. death by her parents. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Zumbro Lutheran Church (624 3rd Avenue SW Rochester, MN 55902). Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Private burial will take place in Northfield, MN at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Camp Companion or Paws Claws.
