Scott "Scotty" Reynolds left this life on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Scotty was born on April 6, 1964. He is the son of Norman and Shirley Reynolds. He graduated from North Polk Community School in 1982. After graduation he moved to Nixa, Missouri where he lived and worked hanging drywall. He later moved back to the Des Moines area where he worked various jobs, until getting hired by Ryko Manufacturing. The last place he worked was Walmart in the Service Department until health issues forced him to retire. Scotty enjoyed being competitive at any sports but especially playing pool, darts, golf and video games. He loved his music and would often share this love with anyone who would listen. He was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and never give up hope that they would someday again be in the Super Bowl. in-law Jeff (Darcy) Copeland Scotty was preceded in death by his Father Norman Reynolds, Paternal Grandparents Ralph and Beulah Reynolds and Maternal Grandparents Robert and Juanita McCombs, mother-in-law Mary White, and brother-in-law Rick Copeland. Memorial contributions can be made to the Scotty Reynolds memorial fund. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Fredregill Funeral & Cremation Care in Polk City, Iowa. His memorial service will follow the visitation and will begin at 2:00 p.m. Scotty's family invites friends to join them at Water's Edge Bar and Grill for a time to refreshments and fellowship following the memorial service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
