ry) Jochims of Oskaloosa, and Ron (Chanel) Kauffman of Beacon; a daughter in law, Carol Rutherford of Evans; twenty one grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Rutherford of rural Sigourney and Richard (Sharon) Rutherford of Barnes City; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, DeWayne Rutherford and Ronald Kauffman; a daughter, Carolyn Kauffman; a great grandson, Caleb Hammond; a brother, Lloyd Rutherford in infancy; a daughter in law, Vickie Kauffman; and a son in law, Wesley Meeker.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Reverend John DeBoef officiating. Burial will be in the Indianapolis Cemetery near What Cheer. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin Monday after 10:00 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel from 5-7 Monday evening to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to MHP Hospice.
