Joyce R. Hickman

Joyce Cramer Reynolds Hickman of Toms River - Age 95, Peacefully went home to be with Our Lord on January 11th, 2019. She fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse upon graduation from Lewistown Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing, and pursued her School Nurse Certification from Jersey City State College and practiced school nursing in Hazlet for many years. Lewis Reynolds proposed to her in first grade, eventually they were happily married for 34 years until his passing in 1977. They had 2 children, Robert Reynolds of Lanoka Harbor and Susan Magyar of Toms River. She then married Harry Hickman with whom she was also happily married for 34 years until his passing in 2014. She quickly became mother to his 3 children Ruthann Dougherty, Karen Thompson and Tom Hickman. Her wit, wisdom loving and caring manner will be missed by her large blended family. A memorial service will be announced.
