Cheryl A. Roberts, 80, of Pender, NE passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Pender Community Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Rosehill Cemetery in Pender. Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE is handling arrangements. Cheryl was born September 28, 1938 in South Sioux City, NE, the son of Henry and Madge (Halstead) Roberts. He attended South Sioux City Schools and East High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. Cheryl married Marguerite Pojar. The couple moved to Pender in 1961. He worked as a truck driver and truck mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, woodworking, and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Roberts of Pender, NE; sons, Cheryl, Jr. (Connie) Roberts of Wakefield, NE, Kevin Roberts of Wayne, NE, and Curtis Roberts of Ceresco, NE and Mary Ann Roberts of Wakefield, NE; grandchildren, Clinton (Baili), Christina, Burgandy, Lindsey, Alex, Eric, Tiffany, Cody, and Kayleen; great-grandchildren, Easton, Berklee, and Joshua; and many nieces and nephews.
