Harlingen - David S. Rivera, 68, of Harlingen, TX entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 11, 2019. He is survived by his wife Rosa Rivera; his son and daughters Mary Ann (Eric Sanchez) Rivera, Sebastian (Veronica) Rivera, Illiana (Shama) Hernandez, Jessica (Robert) Myers, Sarah Rivera and Ann Molina; Grandchildren Amanda, Marty, Maggie, Moses, Victoria, Ariana, Bishop, Briana, Ava, Vera, Emma and Audrey; great grandchildren Olivia, Jase, Sadie, Kaylee, Myla, Kiera and Ellie; siblings Daniel Rivera, Jr., Linda Garza and Diana Silva; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held today, Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 12:00 noon-9:00 pm in the Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Abundant Life Church with burial to follow at Ashland Memorial Park.
