PEARL PHILLIPS MUSCATINE, Iowa - Pearl M. Phillips, 94, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2019, at home. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the funeral home. Pastor Ryan Downing will officiate. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held at the Riverview Center. Pearl was born on December 30, 1924, in Illinois City, the daughter of Wallace and Mary Dusenberry Estabrook. She married Hilton 'Red' Phillips on December 28, 1945, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 1976. She worked in food service at West Middle School and during World War II, she worked at Huttig assembling ammunition boxes. She attended Faith United Church of Christ.
