Debra Renee Breen

Debra Renee Breen, 51, passed away Monday January 21, 2019.  She was born September 29, 1967 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Patricia Lou (Hough) Harrison and the late Thomas Spencer Breen.  In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister Gayle.   Debra came to Manatee County in 2009 from Santa Fe Springs, California.  When she lived in California, she worked at the Bicycle Club Casino dealing Texas Hold 'Em Poker and occasionally Blackjack.  She loved dealing cards and socializing with the many different people who came to her tables every day.  Debra enjoyed going to the dog park to talk to with her friends and let her dog, Tank, stretch his legs.  She would also take her pup to the dog beach, where they basked in the sunshine and ran through the warm water.  Debra was very spiritual, she was a believer in Christianity and often sought guidance through scripture.  She also loved a good mystery, she spent many of her nights reading crime novels and watching Law & Order.  Most of all, she loved her friends and family dearly;  Debra had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile, she loved to laugh and joke about the trials of day to day life.  Left to...[more]

Left to cherish her memory are her dear friend, Mark Iselo; mother, Patricia Harrison; daughters, Katrina Nordyke and Jessica Nordyke of California; brother, Tom Breen and companion Denisse Dowie of Palm Bay, Florida; sister, Jamee Devries and brother-in-law Richard Devries of Naples, Florida; and grandchildren, Jayden and Hailie.  There will be a Celebration of Life service Saturday, January 26th at 6:30 PM at the Hawaiian Village Clubhouse on 63rd Avenue in Bradenton.  Memorial contributions may be made in Debra's honor to the SPCA at www.bishopspca.org.  Memories and condolences may be left online at www.MaloneyFuneralHomeCares.com.
