nd cars. He loved to travel and camp with friends in the CAL school district area. He always had something that needed maintained and would, on occasion, give it a new purpose. Wilbert was always able to keep himself busy. Throughout the '60s and '70s, Wilbert worked for Jason's Chamberlain Manufacturing and Triggs Manufacturing as a welder. He also did maintenance for Northrup King Seed Corn Company in Hampton and worked for Schneider Implement in Dows. Wilbert delivered motorhomes coast-to-coast for Winnebago in the late '70s and into the early '80s, until he began running the gas station in Alexander for the next five years. Most recently, he cut trees and ground stumps for the past twenty years. Wilbert is survived by his daughter Bonnie Clark of Cedar Rapids, daughter Linda (Jeff) Butt of Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter Karen (Harris) Zander of Coulter, son Jerry (Volnetta) Passehl of Latimer, son David Passehl of Anita, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Amanda, wives Doris and Alice, granddaughter Dawn René Plagge, sister Regina Bobst, sister Irene Dhondt, brother-in-law Gene Bobst and brother-in-law Edward Dhondt.
