d on many committees. Having inherited his father's coin collection, Jim developed his own interest in coins in recent years. He looked forward to attending local coin shows and coin club meetings with his friends. Jim also enjoyed playing dominos with friends, reading, fishing, walking, and especially spending time with his family. In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by his brother-in-law, Mike Zieba of St. Louis, Missouri, and his sister-in laws, Kathryn Tetley of Jefferson City, Missouri, Charlene Zieba of Carbondale, Illinois, and Karol Phelps of Carbondale, Illinois, seven nieces and nephews, and fourteen great nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by close friends, Tom and Kerry Dickerson and their children, Nathan, Kory and Kristen, Kami Irvin, Brian Langreder, and John Phelps. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, father and step-mother, Bertha "Tootsie" Lang Wellman Ogilvie. The family wishes to thank Dr. Greg Andrews, Dr. Rishi Ghanekar and Linda Gilker, and the many physicians, nurses, patient care attendants and support personnel at Quincy Medical Group and Blessing Hospital. Their constant care and compassion supported Jim and his family in so many kind ways. Visitation: Friday, September 10, from 4 to 7 pm at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Celebration of Life: Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Faith Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rodney Bakker and Rev. Kevin McGinnis officiating.
