Agnes McGartland

Agnes Louise McGartland, age 90 of 833 S. 36th, Apt. 140 and formerly of 1531 N. 1150th Ave., Quincy died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 6:45 p.m. in her residence. She was born on November 3, 1920 in Camp Point, Illinois the daughter of Thomas A. and Ethel Estella Gruny Clark. On August 14, 1940 she married Donald McGartland in Palmyra, Missouri. He survives. Agnes was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was active as a Sunday School teacher and in the Women's Mission Society. She was a 50 year member of the HCE, and the Adams County Olde Tyme Association. She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed playing cards and making quilts and giving them to her family. Services: Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Farlow officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
