Jason P. Liesen

Jason Paul Liesen, age 42, of 3914 Chatten Court, Quincy, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 5:06 pm in Blessing Hospital. Jason was born July 22, 1972 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Mike and Sheryl Kulla Liesen. Jason was a 1991 graduate of Quincy High School. He worked in construction for over 20 years. Jason loved sports (wrestling and soccer). He coached soccer for Avery Ensor and also helped out with Avery's wrestling. Jason always knew how to have a good time. He was amazing at BBQ-ing, except when he tried to BBQ in the house, (haha). Survivors include: a daughter, Laina Hudson of Quincy, and Avery Ensor of Quincy, to whom Jason was a father figure. Jason was preceded in death by his mother and recently his father; a brother Grant Liesen; paternal grandparents, Howard and Flora Liesen; and his maternal grandparents, Albert and Florence Kulla. Services: 11:00 am Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Church, with Rev. Tom Donovan and Rev. Roy Bauer officiating.
