Michael John Snyder

Michael John Snyder, age 49, of Quincy, died Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 4:10 pm in Blessing Hospital. Michael was born July 26, 1968 in Atwood, Illinois, the son of Elmer Elza and Karen VanVleet Snyder. He married Sally Sparrow on March 10, 2017 in Luther Memorial Church. Michael was a Customer Service Representative at SC Data Centers in Hannibal, Missouri. Michael delivered the Herald Whig newspaper for many years and also served as a local election judge. He was a member of Luther Memorial Church. Michael liked to acquire knowledge even thought he did not have a college education. He was intelligent and would have made a great contestant on Jeopardy. Michael enjoyed listening to country music. He liked to be outdoors and spending time doing yard work. Those who knew him well would know that he had a quirky sense of humor. He loved his family and his dog and constant companion, Romeo.
