as Central Baptist Church and St. James Lutheran School. Kenneth was a very kind and compassionate man who greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved gardening and spending time at the farm. He was always on the go, whether working, volunteering, or spending time with family. He was always doing something. In his spare time, he loved antiquing and junking. He was a talker and very much enjoyed conversation. Survivors include: two children, Troy R. (Lori) Phillips of Chatham, IL, and Amanda K. (Adam Howser) Phillips of Quincy; three grandchildren, Emily (Andrew Amaro) Phillips of Lawrence, KS, Brayden LeRoy and Brodie Paul Jones both of Quincy; a sister, Betty Fortner of Quincy; a close personal friend, Phyllis Johnson of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews In addition to his wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and five sisters.
