He was also a member of Theta Alpha Phi Dramatics Fraternity at Culver-Stockton College. Since retirement he has served on the Board of Directors of the Quincy Symphony Orchestra Association and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Survivors include his wife, Susan of Quincy; two daughters, Laura Susan (Thomas) Dison of Effingham, IL and Debra Susan Gatewood of Quincy; a son-in-law, Kerry Gatewood; four grandsons, Anthony William Eugene (Emily) Willenborg of Yarmouth, MA, Christian Lee Dison and Alexander Ross Dison, both of Effingham, IL and Kaiden William Lee Gatewood of Quincy; three great grandchildren, Makenzie Rylynn Willenborg of Effingham, IL, Thomas Joseph Lawrence Willenborg of Yarmouth, MA and Mason Reed Willenborg of St. Elmo, IL; a sister, Janet Kay Fritz of Payson, IL; a brother, E. Lee Saeger of Plain City, OH; a niece, Stacey (Christopher) Schutte of Holten, KS, a nephew, Shawn (Tracy Tanner) Fritz of Payson, IL; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; two aunts; an uncle; and several cousins.
