Richard Allen Timmerman

Richard Allen Timmerman, 79, of Wapello, died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Prairie Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mediapolis. Born July 23, 1939 in Rock Island, Illinois he was the son of Alden and Dora (Brown) Timmerman. He married Sharon Ruble on April 3, 1962 in Oquawka, Illinois. She died February 9, 2008. Mr. Timmerman worked in construction. He was an avid collector of WWII memorabilia and had a display in the Wapello museum. He enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions. Survivors include his four children, Richard (LuAnn) Timmerman of Mediapolis, Allen Timmerman of Wapello, Celia (Phillip) Waggoner of Indiana and Matthew Timmerman of Keithsburg, Illinois; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Russell Timmerman. There will be no formal funeral services. According to his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
